My knee is feeling a lot better, I get the results of the MRI this week. Hopefully I did not have a complete tear of any ligaments. I was looking at my web page today and decided to add a widget that will give you additional searching help. I added ANSWER TIPS. Just double click on any word in the blog except the ones from the PowerPoint's, and a pop-up will open with the definition of the word with other related information. I find it to be pretty cool. Check it out.

Specific Heat: A number which shows how a substance changes temperature when it absorbs or radiates (gives off) heat energy.

Liquid water has a high specific heat (1.0), therefore water heats up slower and it also cools off slower.





Sand has a low specific heat, therefore beach sand can get scoring hot quickly during the day and it will also cool down quicker when the sun goes down.
