Air Masses

This cold- dry air mass is called a Continental (dry) Polar (cold) Air Mass, Named for the source it came from. As cool Earth Scientist we refer to it as cP.


This warm, moist air mass formed over the warm gulf of mexico, It picked up moisture from the gulf. (this is its source region).
We refer to it as mT. (maritime Tropical)

Directions: You will research a particular dynasty in Ancient China. The elements to be presented are.
1. important individuals
2. time period of the dynasty
3. important events that took place under the rule of your dynasty.
4. the major achievements of the dynasty.

Students will:

1. research information on the internet.
2. find relevant important information.
present their findings to the class.



The dynasties are:

1. shang
2. zhou
3. hann
4. tang & song
5. mongol (yuan)
6. ming


For each presentation, students will:

1. create a power point presentation.
2. create an artistic expression of the dynasty.
3. each power point should contain ample text to explain the important information for each dynasty.
